If a certain brand of coffee is 97% caffeine-free, how many cups of coffee would you have to drink to get the amount of caffeine found in a standard cup of coffee?

  1. well every cup you drink has 3% of a regular cup. so how many times does 3 go in to 100? that is your answer which is... 32.33333333etc. round it up is 33 cups for one regular cup :D hoped it helped


  2. I think that you would have to drink 33 cups and one third to get this caaffeine. Why? Because, each cup has 3% caffeine; if you turn this into a fraction, each cup has 3/100 caffeine; multiply this by 33, and you've got 99/100 caffeine, almost he full serving, and 33 cups are counted. Now, you can notice that we need 1/100 caffeine to have the full serving of caffeine (100/100); I said earlier that each cup has 3/100 caffeine in it, and one third of this cup would contain 1/100 caffeine (you can get this value by multiplying 1/3 of a cup  times 3/100 of a full cup). If we combine both results, we get 33 and one third cups. I hope this helps, y viva mexico!
