HOW LONG IS THE RECOVERY FROM FEMORAL ARTERY(LEG) BYPASS SURGERY?

I am having bypass surgery on my leg..I want to know the approximate

recovery time until I can return to work..I work with kindergartners.

Plan on 4 - 6 weeks.

Your hospital stay should be from 3 to 5 days. Staples / sutures will come out 10 - 14 days after surgery.

The extra time is for the discomfort to fade away and for you to return to full mobility.
