  1. hey

im 12 and jumping around 3ft3  but my freind ((who is 13)) Is only jumping bout 1ft.

  2. At 13 I had a horse who jumped but thats because my family owned a farm and bred horses.

But most people at 13 arnen't even lucky enough to have a horse. So be thankful! =]

  3. If you can't jump then you shouldn't have a horse. What happens if it takes off and is heading towards an obstacle.

And what is this rubbish people are coming out with about their horse not being able to jump. All horses can jump but if you can't get it to jump then it is because it is sour.

  4. hey i have a 5yr old trakehner that i have just started to jumping im 14

  5. My daughter ( age 17 ) has a TB loan horse who cannot jump - well actually she can but she's not allowed to because she has leg issues, she just hacks with her.

  6. i like to jump but my horse cant. hes navicular and just doesnt have the coordination. but you can take jumping lessons and still ride your horse and then problem solved. and if you dont have money to pay for it you can work it off. and i am 15

  7. I have 2 horses and both of them jump

    !

  8. i dont get your question

  9. I got a 3 horse and im 13.But the are just for trail riding and barrel racing.

  10. i am 14 and i can jump but i enjoy hacking as well.

i have lots of friends my age though who hate jumping

it doesnt matter wether or not you can jump just as long as you enjoy riding...x

  11. Wth?

  12. I am 16 and my horse is 21 and doesnt "jump" he could if i want to though

  13. I'm 13 years old and my pony doesn't really jump or compete much as she doesn't like it much, although when I make her she can. She can do dressage well but I don't really like it. I take her once a week to my neighbour who has an arena, where I do a little basic schooling for half an hour or so. She is now up for sale because I have sadly grown out of her so the time I have left with her, we're spending doing stuff we like. All we really wants to do is hack. We hack for miles and miles, sometimes only 1 hour, sometimes 2, 3 or more. I guess we're both Happy Hackers! :)

  14. im 14 and im training my horse  to jump right now.

when we first started he couldnt even walk over poles but now hes trotting over 4 poles with ease!!

    im sooo proud of him!

  15. I don't jump yet because my horse isn't ready for it as well as me. But when the time comes th at I am ready I'm going to jump. And I'm 13.

  16. First of all i would like to say, HyperSquirrel, You are wrong and it is possible for a horse not being able to jump for medical reasons like mentioned above (navicular). Also, beginners most likely dont know how to jump but may own and be very well able to take care of a horse.

I will say.....horses that dont have any medical problems and capable coordination, are born being able to jump. You just have to teach them to jump when you tell them to.

I am 14 and right now I am not jumping my tb. She has no training with jumping and im working her right now on hacking before i decide to start training her to jump.

    Good Luck

  17. i had a pony when i was 12-15 that was a fantastic county show pony but because of his extended trot action couldnt jump- he would try his best but would knock it down. It didnt worry me because he excelled at the more important thing to me. Unfortunatly if our horse can;t jump and thats what you want to do i dont think its the right horse for you.

  18. im 16 i jumped my horse until she broke her back leg now she is just a stable buddy.

  19. hey i am thirteen and "my" horse doesn't jump yet i have been trying to train her how for about 2 months. she was just born a trail rider and that's what she likes to do and it makes her happier if i go on a trail ride with her. but i know where your coming from i would LOVE it of "my" horse would jump!

  20. anyone can learn to jump ,but you have to be dedicated, confident , patient, and you have to have the right attitude and  never get mad with your horse if it doesnt do what you want. because the horse is only doing what your telling it to . If you have in your mind ' i cant jump , i cant jump, im the only one who cant jump , i just cant do it' then your obviously not going to be successful in accomplishing it . Be open minded , and read about horses , then you can understand what their thinking and why they will do the things they do  . If you do that , then im positive that you will be jumping in no time. :)
