i want to play for steve spurrier when i get to college and i want to know if u guys think he will still be there when i try and get to university of south carolina.i am in the 9th grade.

Well first of all, you should be more worried if he will actually Recruit  you rather than worrying how long he will be coaching.

Until he gets what he wants to get done. He works an builds an then he leaves. Im a senior this year an im going to try to play for South Carolina in a couple of years. Go c***s!

He might be there for your freshman year, but I doubt it.

While the "ole ball coach" as he likes to be called has been around for a while, I think it's safe to say he should be around if you're lucky enough to be recruited.  He learned his lesson about coaching in the pros when the Redskins job didn't work out.

How many years does he have in him?  WHAT!! Are you crazy?? Spurrier is a GREAT coach and could coach just as long as Lou Holtz or "Pappa" Joe Paterno.  I think the real question is how long will he be at South Carolina? (Why you want to go there is beyond me - oh yeah, too play for a great coach) If it wasn't for Spurrier, Florida wouldn't be the school they are today and they would still be gettin their butts kicked in the SEC.

No way to know.  He'll be there - and in the game - as long as he wants. He's one excellent coach.
