  1. A pregnant women should gain any where from 25-35 pounds during their pregnancy.

  2. um when you are pregnant you earn a lot!! but then you give it to your baby. It's called baby fat???

  3. I put on about 15 kgs, but I had pre-eclampsia so most of it was water weight

Just for a conversion, there are 2.2 lbs in 1 kg

  4. omg only 7lbs???

i thought i was bad! i am 36 weeks i put on 20 lbs, but when she comes out i think she will take 15 with her!!!

we are blessed! breastfeeding is best for the rest.

  5. i put on 23kgs with my twins & had them at 37 weeks...  i had a friend who put on 36 with her first baby so everyone is different :)

  6. I'm due Nov. 2nd and I've put on 7 lbs so far!

  7. I gained 100 pounds, 45.3kgs with my first (I was 16 years old) gained 28 pounds, 12.7kgs with the second (I was 18 years old ) I lost about 50 pounds,  22.6 kgs with the last (I was 20 he was 11 weeks early)

  8. Actually 25kg is equal to 55 pounds.

The normal total weight gain should be about 25 to 30 pounds or 11kg.  This will decrease the risk of delivering a low-birth-weight baby.

  9. Well with my first I gained about 35lbs which is about 16kg...and it took me about a year and a half to lose it all and some!

With my son tough, I gained about 45lbs!! which is about 20.5kg!!! He's almost 7 months now and I lost all but 15 lbs :-(

Don't worry about gaining too much weight...every body and every pregnancy is different. Just as long as you eat healthy after baby is born, excercise and breastfeed (this helps with weight loss too) you should see the pounds come off!!
