Current weight 181 lbs

Diet: Atkins Induction

Exercise: 5-7 miles a day of jogging/running

  1. you're most likely not going to see a decline in your weight after five days however, you might lose inches and you will feel better


  2. The exercise is good, but I'm not so sure about the diet.

    Hmmmm....I lost about 15 pounds in two months. Just jogging about every other day. Sometimes I didn't go that often. (The shame...XD) I already eat pretty heathly. I just cut out some junk. (White sugar, (sometimes) cheese, candy, and chips) I could have lost more, but..... I would get home from jogging...and just sit around. I needed to be more active. Also...For awhile I didn't see a change in my weight. I look at some old pics and noticed a slimmer stomach.(I understand what they say now about losing inches) :o Also, don't force yourself all these miles, if you aren't use to them. Start off slow like a mile or two each day.  

  3. Don't do atkins. I made up my own diet, I eat everything except sweets and junk food, I only eat water and I eat 3 meals for breakfast lunch and dinner but it's a very small meal. I have 100 calorie snacks in between when hungry to keep up metabolism. I use my elliptical for exercise for an hour a day. I lost 7 lbs in 2 weeks already =)


  4. Number 1: Atkins Diet is so dangerous. Don't do some stupid diet like that. You just need to eat healthier by adding more fruits & veggies to your diet. Running/jogging 5-7 miles a day is great. The lbs will really start to fall off of you by doing that. It's really hard to say how much you'll lose in a month. It's possible to lose 5-10lbs. in a month,but it also depends on how consistent you are with exercising and what you eat.  

  5. The first week on Atkins you will see a good amount of water weight loss. Your really won't see any fat loss until your body goes into ketosis. Once you hit that zone you can expect to drop 4-8lbs per month of bodyfat. Be careful, this diet is infamous for rebound weight gain once you start eating carbs again. It is also very unforgiving for cheating as you have to start from the beginning if you mess up.
