  1. It will be tricky to achieve a style like that on your own, but here's a few pointers:

-If you're lucky enough to have a natural wavy texture like Vanessa's, then just use a de-frizzing product and let it air-dry. If not, use a texturizing or volumizing product on wet hair.  Then blow-dry it upside-down to add volume.  Depending on your hair type, it may be best to try this style on day-old hair.

-Separate your hair into 3-4 horizontal sections (to make it easier to work with) and work from the bottom section up.

-Use a smaller curling iron and begin to make spiral curls on all of your hair in the first section.  Instead of using the curling iron clamp to make curls, take small sections of hair and wind them around the outside of the curling iron with your fingers (don't burn yourself).  Alternate the directions of the curls to make them more random.

-Continue this process until every section is curled.  Let your curls cool.

-Take the front/top section of your hair (where your bangs would be) and comb through the front of it with your fingers to soften the waves.  You may need to use a shine or smoothing product on it to tame it.

-Messily create a poof on the front of your head (use the picture to guide you) and secure with bobby pins that are the same color as your hair.  Really take your time to arrange your hair how you want it and experiment on this part.  Leave a few pieces loose and just sweep them back.  Spritz the front with hairspray.

-Hang your head backwards and sweep the rest of your hair into a high, messy ponytail.  Don't worry if some pieces fall out--it adds to the look.  Secure with an elastic the same color as your hair.  Smooth the sides and bottom out with your fingers, if needed.

-Begin to arrange your waves into the shape of Vanessa's updo.  Use your bobby pins to secure.  Take your time and look at your hair from all directions.

-Once you've achived your desired shape, you may need to use a texturizing balm or a similar products to lightly twist the ends of your curls to give them more separation.  Spritz the look with a shine spray and/or a hairspray.

    Good luck!

  2. first you have to use a curling iron with at least a 1 in barrel then you take the top section of your hair and push it forward making a slight bump in the front of your hair and then pin the hair so that it stays with the bump, then in the back for the bun put all the hair into a ponytail and start pinning the individual curls down but leave the end of the curl sticking out very slightly, and that's it, it may take a little while to get the hag of pinning the curls but have fun with it and make it your own!

  3. u need wavey hair..pin up ur bangs, might need some teasing. leav out a few strands on the sides and pin up the back XP

  4. wash your hair then put styling cream in it.

let it air dry so it goes naturally wavy and if you don't have wavy hair you can put a curl enhancing spray in it. I love bumble and bumble curl enhancing spray because it contains salt which as you know makes your hair wavy like when you go to the ocean. Let it air dry then back comb your hair so it has volume like vanessa's. you may want to make a sorta pouf. put your hair up in a high pony and pin some parts down. mess the ends around so that they have texture. and voila your done I hope this helps :)

  5. ok well first put your hair on a messy bun. but leave you a big chunk from the front of the head. and then after you have the messy bun part take the chunk and pkinda like make a big bump with it and then use clips or bobby pins to hold it in place.
