How do you play electronic catch phrase plz help bcuz i wanna play it wit da fam.

Basic instructions:

1. Divide up into two teams (generally, at least 3 to a team or more).  Select what players will be the "readers" for the round.

2. Clear out the score on the device by pressing the 1 and 2 at the same time.  The device should announce that Team 1 has 0 points, and team 2 has 0 points.

3. Use the arrow button to select a category.  When the appropriate category is selected, hit the timer button to start.

4. The game is a game of "Hot Potato".  The reader must get his team to say what is on the device without saying the word, derivatives of the word, "rhymes with", or "starts with".  Once the team has said the word, the reader throws the device to the other reader, who pushes the arrow button to see the next word.  During this back-and-forth, the timer is running, and the device beeps.  The team that is left holding the device when the timer goes off loses the round, and the other team is awarded a point.  The team not holding the device when the timer goes off also has an opportunity to "steal" for another point.

5. Whenever a team gets a point, press the number button for the appropriate team, and the device will note the point and announce the score.  To check the score throughout the game, press the clock button and the arrow button at the same time.

6. The first team to 7 points wins (the device will announce this when one team reaches 7 points.

you pick a category and then try to describe the displayed word by giving clues. When the person gives the correct word you move on to the next word. When times up the next person describes the words. Only thing is you cant give clues such as ryhmes with or begins with or act any of them out. Its alot of fun and really easy to play.
