Muscle cramps occur due to not exercising frequently and for others that do but not in the right format. Read on to know how to prevent muscle cramps:
I. Before embarking on any exercise, do some stretches that will increase flexibility when doing intense exercises, For example warm ups, for the upper and lower part of the body and for the back muscle. Also, you should eat fuits or yoghurt if you are planning on doing a rigorous exercise.
II.Drink lots of water. Take regular breaks for taking in water. Studies have shown that drinking water when you feel thirsty is a reliable way to hydrate your body sufficiently. It is also required that during workouts, you breathe well,after the exercise, cool down or do a "warming down session".
III. Eat foods that contain vitamins and minerals that can make your muscles less prone to excessive cramps. Fruits and vegetables are very necessary.
IV. Drink 2 glass of milk everyday as it provides calcium and calcium is good for strong bones, it would help to prevent muscle cramps.
