HOW TO REPLACE BEARING ON SWAMP COOLER

HAVE A BEARING SEIZED ON MY SWAMP COOLER. I WENT TO THE STORE TO GET REPLACEMENT BEARING BUT THE ONES THERE DO NOT LOOK THE ONE ON MY COOLER. I HAVE THREE ARMS TO BRACE TUB. THE ONE AT THE STORE HAVE TWO BOLTS TO HOLD IT IN PLACE....MINE DO NOT...HOW DO I GET THE BEARING OFF THE SHAFT...PLEASE HELP BURNING UP...THANK YOU

  1. There should be a set s***w on the bearing somewhere, probably allen head.  Once you get the set s***w loose you will probably have to hit the bearing with a hammer to get it off.  You should be able to find the proper bearing for your setup, possibly at another store.  Tap it on more gently than what you took the old one off, tighten the set s***w, oil the bearing, oil the bearing on the other end of the shaft and you should be good to go.  It is not an easy task, so good luck.
