Hello Samantha. They will not run priors to visit in jail, but they will run wants and warrents while visitation is in progress.

As an average, while working visitation for my Sheriff's Department, we averaged 5 people a night who came in to visit someone in jail and had an active warrent. We simply waited by the exit gate when visitation was over and as they attempted to retrieve their driver's license, we placed them under arrest.

But if hubby simply has a prior conviction or record with no current wants waiting, he will be fine.
