  1. hey, i was a skinny little weakling in highschool. i gained a whole lot of muscle really quick (3 weeks). what you do is to get a whole turkey. commit yourself to eating only the lean parts and whole wheat bread(dont eat the fat).i also recommend eggs (no yolks). go to bodybuilding.com. dont worry, there's no way you can get as jacked as a bodybuilder. but they do have every workout you can do to build muscle. unless you trying to get ripped like nadal, most players federer are pretty skinny to begin with. they get their power and muscle from correct form and years of repeated muscle memory, so dont get too much musle or it might start to slow you down.

  2. While it is good to stay toned when you play tennis, you really don't want to get very buff.  The reason for that is because you can't move as quickly.  Your arms are slower swinging a racket, and your whole body actually slows down.  If you were running a longer distance, it wouldn't matter as much, but since tennis is all about quick starts and stops, it actually makes a huge difference.  Top players in the world are more ripped - like Nadal.  But they have to work extra hard to stay quick.  In lower-level tennis competitions, it's good to have muscle and to stay fit and toned, but the goal isn't to get very buff.  Many tennis players eat carbs like pasta to obtain the muscles that they want.  Hope this helps!

  3. It is good that you get some muscles, but there is another thing that will help you immensely to improve the strength of your shots. You should learn to hit every ball with the sweetspot. Believe me, this is not easy to learn, but it is really essential for the power and the precision of your shots. This will also improve the confidence in your shots, as the feeling at the point of impact will be more uniform.

When you practice, reserve some time and concentrate only on the sound of your strokes. Find the best feeling and the best sound and then try to keep it. Practice, practice, practice. This will surely pay off. If you don’t learn this, you better stop trying to improve your tennis, because it will not be possible.

  4. you should do what the above person did except lift weigh. It could mess up your back lifting weigh. tennis players need their back to serve and smash. It doesn't matter too much if your skinny. players hit and serve hard depending on how their swing speed is.
