I suggest putting up a website with photos and links to news stories that detail the atrocities. Update it frequently and if there are charities that are actively helping in the area provide info as to how people can support them. Give links to the charities.

come up with a a catchy design ( which could be as simple as a sentence ) and sell t-shirts. they usually cost from $3-$6 and you could sell them for $8-$10. there are lots of websites that do this for you at a low price.
