HOW much BUDGIES IN ONE CAGE?

WELL I HAVE 10 BUDGIES AND ALL OF THEM ARE IN ONE BIG CAGE IM I DOING RIGHT..?

TELL ME PLEASE IN NEED LOTS OF HELP

It all depends on the size of the cages... A good rule is to have 5 inches of perch space per bird. But that doesnt mean to pack the cage full of perches. For ten budgies it seems you would need about the size of a standard Conure cage but with the bar spacing of a budgie cage. It should be wide and tall. They need enough space to flap its wings and fly around the cage for exercise. If they cant do this then you deffinetly need to get a bigger cage or reduce the number of budgies in your collection. If you cant offord a really big cage the next thing is to buy another cage of appropriate size and split you the birds. You can always keep the cages next to eachother so they can see one another. Be sure not to split up bonded pairs cuz this can really upset them and can cause alot of stress. And when birds are stressed they can get sick very easily.  Also always remember to supply adequate amounts of food and fresh water all the time!!! Good luck and hope I helped.

Probably not. Budgies need more space to fly around in their cage. My grandmother had a cage the size of a dining table filled with 40 budgies back when she was a kid.

well if they all seem to get along then i really don't see the problem jsut make sure its a BIG cage with plenty of space and lots of toys so there's nothing to fight about

and make sure you have a couple of food feeders and water dishes so that they dont fight over that

We need more information then this on your budgies living environments. Whats the measurements of the cage, are they all the same s*x? You could be stressing budgies out having them lay eggs!

Do you have a big food dish or plenty? Enough water dishes and so on so they don't fight?

I mean if you can really manage 10 budgies correctly more power to you but thats gotta be ONE huge cage...

How big is the cage? I had two once, in what I would call a "standard cage". How big is yours?
