HOme clothing sewers (people who make thier own clothes)?

Question

Is there a site on the internet that I can access to ask questions about how to do things that a pattern calls for? I am really getting in to making my own clothes and sometimes need a little help with some of the more technical things. There are no people around here that are into this so I must relie on being on line. I have a few how to books but I can't seem to find very much. I did a lot of sewing when I was in my 20s but gave it up until about a year ago. I do a lot of quilting thought and have for many years. So I do know my way around a sewing machine. Any help lines out there?

made clothes for all my family and friends etc. for many years - even jeans for my husband

do not sew much  any more due to arthritis but would be willing to help if I can - body may not work as well now but the mind is still as sharp as it used to be.
