ok im going in to hours and need to get breeches or chaps what ever you call them and i need to no were to get them how much and i pic would be nice

really jeans will do you good for the first lesson and a boot with a heal. you don't need  breeches until you know you're going to stick with it.

Before you ride, I really think that you need to use the right terms. And you don't really need breeches until you are an advanced rider. My friend and I have been riding for five years and we STILL don't need them.

You need to go to a local tack store. If you are taking lessons then you should talk to your instructor. I just went  to this horse expo and i saw horse riding pants for like $14 and some for like $200! It really depends on how much you wanna spend.

I would try statelinetack before it goes out of business because they are going out of business and they have everything in stock on sale.
