lol they have to add YOU for you to have fans. . . but if you want a CONTACT, you can add them, simply be going to their profile and clicking on "add contact".

By the way, you do have ONE fan. . . look and see.

well, the users (who are your fans) just clicked on your profile and said as add contact and now there your fans.

Being someone's fan or contact allows them to see your questions and answers even if your Q/A's are private to the rest of the world (on your profile page). That way you can block the "trolls" (and childish acting members) from seeing your Q/A's and also sending you unwanted emails.

You can click on any user's profile (that you like) and select "Add as Contact". That person (if they don't know you) could decide they don't know you well enough and choose not to let you be their contact.

It's best to get to know a person 1st and then ask so they don't feel fishy about you.

Also some users do not allow any other users to be fans or contacts. In this case you can not add them. You may have to ask them to add you as a contact if you don't allow contacts. There is an option in your profile that lets you select if you want to allow contacts or not.

Takes a little time to figure out but you'll get it.

people click on your profile and ask to be a fan. You should have gotten an email asking for permission though.
