  1. Basically, it's all going to come down to practicing... but one thing you can do, is make sure you're practicing correctly. With hitting or spiking, or an overhand spin, or jump spin serve, the key is to snap your wrist.  If you're just hitting it out everytime, don't keep doing it. Work on getting it in first, then you can start hitting it harder.  While coming through the ball, hit it in a way that gives it topspin.

With recieving balls, I guess the key is don't swing your arms, with bumping, and handle it confidently.  Lots of people think that they need to go the ball to the passer themselves, but mostly, the power of the serve will bounce the ball of your arms up near the setter. If you aren't swinging, and the ball is still going to far, pull back your arms and cushion the ball just as it hits.  Lining up your shoulders to the target, using legs to pass, and getting behind the ball are key to a good pass.

  2. PRACTICE>>...... and get sum strength in ur arms. build  musclee upper body. and strnethin ur calves,,,,, n work on ur jumps ..ull imrprove eventually.

  3. For spiking, I recommend breaking it apart.

Practice your approach.  Mark off a 10 foot line around your house.  Do your approach.  Hustle back into position as quickly back as you can.  Do your approach.  Do 10 approaches.  Take a 1 minute break.  Do 10 approaches.  Do at least 10 sets of 10 approaches.  You will never be able to think about hitting the ball hard if you are thinking about your feet.

Take a ball over near the wall.  Toss the ball and hit it against the wall.  If the ball comes back at the right height to hit again, hit it.  If it comes back too low or too far to the side, catch it and toss again.  Make sure you practice correct technique.  It is not about how fast you can hit the ball or how many in a row, it is about how many CORRECT shots you can hit.

    Work on combining the two.

Serve receive of hard driven balls-If you are SURE it is going to be hard driven, you can spread out your base.  Get your feet wider.  Get your arms out farther from your body.  Cushion the ball.  You not only will do no swing, you will actually let your arms bounce back.  Make sure your platform is straight.

If you are not sure that the other player is going to do a hard spike, do not make your base wide.  You will look very bad with a very wide base on the dink.  You will be able to get to the ball by the second bounce to roll back to the other team.

  4. for a good spike, you need to take an approach and make sure you follow throung.  if you follow through, your spike will go straight down.  but for that to happen, you have to jump high.  to get the ball to go to the setter, you have to point your body to the spot that you need it to go.  but you have to make sure you don't swing your arms.

  5. All you need to do is practice

    Practive with someone you know

    Hit the ball hard

    Practice makes perfect

  6. pratice makes perfect unless u just not good at v-ball like me

  7. Be better

  8. PRACTICE!

  9. when you are at home, walk around on your toes (tip toe)

this will make you jump higher

it is a really good calf workout

  10. Well you already know where the setter is, correct?

just hit the c**p outta the ball (or you could even tip) right to the setter to throw the other team off, when you make the secondary setter set, you take her out as a hitter and then bam. they have like a huge percentage of s******g up, or just making it easier for your team. I'd recomend lifting weights hardcore, arms for those hard hits, but DEFINATELY lift lots of leg weights (maybe even wear leg weights when you excersise) so that you can work your legs so you can jump higher. When you jump higher you can really get up there to slam the ball down to the ten foot line HARD so everyone is scared of you and know they have to block you, be able to go line, work on it, practice.

Become an all-star, practice back-row too, ofcourse, be able to fill in anywhere for your team/coach. You really need to talk on the court, it will enhance your team ten-fold.

Get excited for every tiny little thing when you guys do good on your team, even if it was accidental roll or something. By doing this you break down the other team.

If someone keeps digging your hardcore hits, tip or roll, then see if they have trouble, if they do keep it up, until they least expect it and then baM hiT SOMEONE IN THE FACE!!!!!!!!

you have to want it! fight, hardcore.

always show movement on the court, run stack plays, run plays, have people crossing through the court to hit a c slide from the left side position!!! have the setter hit the ball when they pass it up to her!!! Heck!!! Always be aggressive, if they overpass the ball, punish them for it!! slam the ball back in their face!!! never get down or break down infront of ANYONE let alone the other team,

have spirit. you have to go in knowing you can do it.

  11. Ok, my advice for HARD spiking is:

    1) have a really good approach, land at the right spot. (the right spot should be 2 hands behind the net)

    2) REACH for the ball.

    3) always have your spiking hand spread out, not together. it helps you hit harder, towards your target.

    4) shape it like a ball, this way, it also helps you spike to your target. hit it with all your might.

    5) ALWAYS snap your hand slightly after you touch the ball. it helps you get the ball in the court, than out the court.

    6) swing your arm to about your hip, farther than that is fine.

My advice for HARD serve receive is:

    1) stand at a 45 degree angle.

    2) you can take 1 or 2 steps forward then toss.

    3) toss the ball about 1 to 3 feet in the air, when you do that, it's the best height to serve a ball.

    4) try to hit the ball with your PALM instead of the heel of your hand, it's not going to give your serve enough power. if you served with your palm, that gives more power, and don't push the ball.

    5) try to make contact with the ball as soon as the ball goes up and to where your "serve zone" is. give as much power as you can, this technique should make the ball go DIRECTLY to the other side. i don't think there's a way (from my knowledge)  to hard-serve a ball to the setter because the setter moves up to the net when you serve. but there could be a way, but i don't know how.

    6) practice a lot of times, and practice makes "perfect"
