  1. If you don't know how or if you have any fear about it then don't even try. You must be confident of your riding skills and your relationship with the horse before you start running the animal. Don't even think about it unless you are absolutely sure about yourself. You will know when the time is right.

  2. How comfortable do you feel with your horse?  Have you trotted with him  or a fast gate?  have you been riding long?

start slow with your horse from trot to a canter  to a short run.  give it a try  but dont go to an all out run with your horse unless you feel safe to do so.

  3. do you fell safe if so try and get some lessons on the horse if you can't get lessons try this walk fast but don't make him trot then trot slow and the get a little bit fester and when you are at a stage you fell safe when he is doing a fast trot slow him right down and then sit and then give him a little kick with your leg just a little one and when he is canting just sit there and let him do all the work but make shore u fell safe and and and if you can try and ride him a s saddle that is like a big chair for horses like a western saddle see if you are riding him in a saddle that you don't fell safe in that might be the problem

    OK

    i hope this helps

  4. Well.. first off i was affraid of falling off that what made me allways want to find an excuse not to run.

But i didn't if i where you ide think you know the horse would love to run. I would give yourself in small steps.

Like start walking.. then go in to trotting then go a lil faster and put your horse in a run thats what i did and i was fine :]

i really hope this helps running on a horse in amazing<3
