HOw to i shrink my fianl cut express video for you tube?

When ever i do it i use quitime conversion and i and convert to quick time and it comes out to big so i just export the movie to imovie and then convert it through imovie then then when i put it onto u tube the quality of it is really bad

from Final Cut, go to file > Export Quicktime Movie, then when its done exporting, control-click it then go 'open with' > Quicktime. When its in Quicktime go to file > Export and change the settings like this.

Export:Movie To QuickTime Movie

options > settings > Compression: MPEG-4 Video

                              Quality: Best

                              Frame Rate: 30

                              Dimensions: 640 x 480

                              Scale: Letterbox
