HOw to make a darkroom

When i wsa in school i uded to devlope photos in a darkroom now that schools over i miss it and wanted to make a dark room of my own how bit u dont want it to smell up the home what can i buy to putin the back yard that can double as a dark room and where woudl i be able to but the supplies

Darkrooms don't typically smell up your home ... It hasn't mine. Are you planing on leaving all the chemicals in the trays 24/7?

Since you have worked in a darkroom, you know what you need.  But what I hear from you question is that you have not considered the cost of keeping the darkroom cool in the summer or warm in the winter ... and dark, well ventilated and with the necessary electrical outlets.  Building a  new building in your back yard could cost you more that the cost of your enlarger and the other accessories you need to buy to get your darkroom going.
