Question:

HP C4380, Wireless Printing Problem

OK, so I bought a brand new HP C4380 and installed HP's ridiculous amount of software with no problems.I choose a wireless connection to print through and it even picked up the printer through my wireless Netgear DG934G with no problems as well duing setup (the wireless test page even prints out at the right time during the wizard). But once the setup is complete and I go to print anything it fails. The document is sent to the printer which clinks, and whirrs and makes some other noises to get you all excited that it's going to work but it never completes the print. Although it sounds like the print is being processed the job just sits idly in my printer que and the printer itself just remains in a state of 'printing'. It's only after about 3-4mins I get an error message saying the print has failed??!I have checked the wireless router settings and the printer is in the list of attached machines with the correct IP address and MAC. I can also ping the printer successfully from my laptop through the wireless router. I received no error messages during setup about the firewall blocking the signal/installation. Strangely, when I access the printer through the IP address it says the printer is connected and ready?I am now at a loss. Has anyone experienced this or even got an idea on why this may be happening please? Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thankyou, Adrian
