HP dv6700

I have a HP dv6700 and I cannot get the disk drive to stay closed. If you close it, it will stay closed for about 5 seconds. After that you hear a funny noise and the drive opens on its own. Other than that, to my knowledge (which isn't much) everything else is fine.
