  1. I have had several Acer`s and HP`s and used

    them quite heavily.

Found that HP`s last longer and give less trouble

  2. HP without any doubt. The company has provided awesome support for their systems.

For the less experienced user, they have software bundled that will keep your system up to date. I have a niece that knows little about PCs and she took one to college. She lets the system take care of itself.

Second point is HP's customer care. In the rare event that anything goes wrong with their Hardware, they are truly there to support you. I had one of my laptops fail. The same day I contacted them, they shipped me a box to return the laptop free of charge. They swapped out the guts and returned me my system free of charge. More impressive - the system was 11 months past the normal warranty. They even returned it to me within a week, using next day delivery.

  3. With the same Specs, HP.

The most reliable prebuilt PC's I have owned have been HP and I have owned PC's from quite a few brands.

  4. hp

  5. HAD DELL FOR A LONG TIME BOUGHT HP A YEAR AGO NEVER HAD ACER MY MONITOR IS ACER IS GREAT ... HP HAS BEEN AWESOME SINCE BOUGHT HP HAS BEEN AROUND A LONG TIME!! ACER HAS NOT ... I WOULD GO WITH HP ONLY FOR THE FACT I CAN GIVE U GREAT RATINGS FOR IT ...... FORGET DELL NOTHING BUT TROUBLE MY NEPHEW HAD DELL NOTEBOOK FAN BURNT OUT 3 TIMES ....NICE!!!!

  6. its easy to get two average computers with exactly the same specs these days.

I still prefer HP over Acer because in my mind, Acer and HPPresario is level 1, Dell/HP pavilion is level2, and alienware, XPS, is level 3.

HP comes with built in recovery software, that's in a partition of your hard drive and makes full complete system recovery a breeze. As if that wasn't enough, it either comes with, or you can make your own recovery dvds just in case of total hard drive failure. I like HP Pavilions case design too although most motherboards in HPs are smaller than average, which makes upgrading a little more problematic.

HP's built-in software is very user friendly, it sometimes causes complications with microsoft updates but then again, since when a microsoft update was bug free? anyways, I like the HP website because it offers free updates to fix every problem encountered with just about every software from my joystick driver to microsoft windows security updates.
