A family member talked to HR Dept about an ongoing grievance between his department and the dept superintendent. HR investigated and saw the problems were true and contacted the Superintendent, who is doing a review of him first thing this morning. Can he lose his job?

  1. If all this employee did was to take the proper course of action, following the chain of command, etc., then he cannot be legally let go.  If his review is unfavorable or if he is let go, he needs to contact HR immediately with the proper documentation regarding why the review was inaccurate (sales numbers or whatever quantitative factors are used to evaluate employees at that company).  If they won't help him, contact your state's labor commission.  They will help you.
