HS Mile times?

what is a normal mile time for a 1a school sophmore?

average time is from 8-10 min

but u only have to get 11 min to pass, which is pretty easy

a lot of people get 7min

unfortunately i'm not one of them :(

girl:  around 8-10 minutes

guy: around 6-8 minutes

guy: under 5 to 6 min

I would aim for anthing between 5-7 minutes.

Girl Good time: 6:45

Girl Average time: 7:30

Guy Great time: 4:45

Guy Good time: 5:40

Guy Average time: 6:50

That would be my guess, Great times would be like the most elite runners in the school, and the average would be for one who doesn't run much but is still athletic.

I got 7:42 and I beat most of my class. We have a very small gym class, though (25 kids, where as most are around 100-200). I'd say about 8-9 is average.

6 minutes, unless the person is fat then like 10 -15 minutes
