HS gymnastics team tryouts!!!!!!?

I'm trying out for my hs gymnastics team(im a freshman). Theirs junior varsity and varsity team. All I know is their is a gymnatsics room with equipment. I've been doing gymnastics for some time now. I'm in really good shape, (ran competitive track and x-country). I can do 30 push-ups in a row and 60 sit-ups.Also I'm, 4'10. I can do a round-off back handspring, front handspring, standing back tuck. I'm really nervous, don't know anyone on the team or the coach. But I really love gymnastics. Try-outs are this saturday.

What are any tips for try-outs? What should I wear, stuff like that, how i should act? What skills I should practice?How to calm my nerves?

Please any tips, even a sentence willl help.

  1. ok first of all, clam down. by the sounds of it your an excellent gymnast! just wear a regular leotard and act how you would normally act! focus on what your doing. don't think about anyone else but you. remember to smile , but don't give one of those fake smiles, be natural! do not second guess yourself. if you think you can't do it, well then you can't,but if you think you can do it guess what... YOU CAN! if you do start to second guess yourself just think "You know what, s***w it! i do what i do because i love it and no one can take that away from me! not even the coaches." you'll do fine! of course you want to make the team but don't feel discouraged if you don't. just  take it as an opportunity! a challenge even! if you don't make the team, think of it as a chance to come back next year and "wow" the pants off the coach! well good luck and i certainly hope i helped!! =D
