HSBC (Maestro) Debit Card..??

I'm trying to make a payment online to a company who do accept switch/maestro. My HSBC debit card has the Maestro logo on the front and Cirrus on the back. When i try typing in my card number, it tells me i don't have enough digits......do i use the long number on the front of the card...dropping off the first two digits at the beginning???? and I don't see a start date on the card either, i don't need that right??? PLEASE HELP!!!!

  1. why would you drop off the first two digits? your best bet is to call hsbc customer service and they will be gladly to help you with your online payment problem

    look for the number on the website
