HTC Mogul PPC6800 bluetooth

I just today got the phone and am unable to get my wireless bluetooth earpiece to connect with the phone...The earpiece is a Plantronics PLT510 Voyager. So, how do I get them matched up? Every time I try I get a message saying no devices were found
