HTC PPC6800 for mac users...Ringtones?

Question

I am a mac user and have an SD card to put music on to use in the phone. I want to use these songs for ringtones but when I go to the file explorer I see the music files (and can play them on windows media) but I cannot see an option to make it a ringtone. Any ideas?
