i was trying to purchase sprints navigation system on my htc touch, however when i run the program it says gps signal too weak. i asked a rep and she stated that the htc touch needed an external gps or something like that. so, i understand the gps is not built in as i thought but what is an "external gps" and where do you get it?

  1. Some call it a "Puck." Basically it communicates with your phone via bluetooth. You leave it your vehicle or wherever, and when you get in the car the bluetooth connects - as long as you've set it up.

It is a GPS receiver for your phone.

See Telenav.com and choose accessories. They have one there.

Visit http://www.cell48.com and click accessories. You should be able to find one there.
