HUGE cockroach..what chemicals should i use to kill it??

I have lived in my apartment for 6 months now, no bugs at all..Now, I see a huge one coming from a hole in the laundry room.I think its my new neighbors, b/c i've see how junky they are..they leave pots, trash, even a mattress on the porch..

I can't just use a shoe, im scared and i live alone..im need to go to wal-mart NOW to get something..someone help..i can't go to sleep till this is DEAD!

Get a big container or box and cover it. Drag the box (push it really hard so that the cockroach dusnt escape) out of your door and closee it immeditely.

Go to Walmart and go to the section where they sell cleaning products.  Find an aerosol foaming cleanser for floors.  Make sure it has the spray function.  Although this is not intended to be a bug killer, it works - I've used it on earwigs and it killed them fast.  It suffocates them and they get stuck in the foam.  Then, it's easy to clean up - you just take a paper towel and wipe away and throw it out.  Because it's also a cleaning product, it helps to clean your floor as you kill the pest.

Id still go with the shoe... sprays dont always get them quickly..then you have a poison covered roach roaming around...good luck

Get the cockroach traps that they walk into and bring the poison home to the whole family. Also get an on the spot spray killer so when you see one you can kill it. Those things can be gotten rid of in your place. But they will probably move on to other apartments that dont have a line of defense.
