HUNTING PRESERVE?!?!?

I'm interested in opening a hunting persevere in west virginia but don't know what type of permits i need or what the zoning laws are. also font know if your able to own or sell exotic animals there. someone please help give me a direction to go in. thanks

a simple internet search will provide you with your states fish and wildlife website.........you should be able to find out what you need to know or if not they should have a way to contact them

Joe has it right. Additionally may I suggest that you will have a golden opportunity to be an "intelligent predator" and insist that all clients do the same? Initial harvesting for many years should be only the culling of inferior genetics. You can bring back the largely hidden genetics of mega-racks, simply by not killing them until that's what is in the enclosure. And if the enclosure is big enough with varying terrain, it won't be a "canned hunt". So you may need to band with others similarly pledged to get a yard big enough for that. May I further suggest you avoid large imported species, as we have elk and moose "already out there". The smaller African antelope taste superb, and a 223 or 243 are overkill. And you can get lots more of them to the acre! Regards, Larry.
