Tommy Haas has gone under the knife to fix a problem with his right hip. When will he be back in action?

    Haas’ website lists no dates in his schedule and his agent Lars Schriewer is quoted on there as saying "Tommy has been operated upon by the best medical doctor in this field. He is in the best of hands. Every thing else remains to be seen."

    It might be worth noting that David Nalbandian underwent hip surgery last May, and his first scheduled tournament was this January (but he was forced to pull out due to a stomach muscle injury), so that’s the kind of time-frame we might be looking at, meaning it’s pretty much over for Haas’ season in 2010.
