Habitat For Humanity?

I need to write a statement of purpose for Habitat For Humanity and tell them why i should go on one of the trips

can you guys give me some advice/ideas?

Since you already are keen going going on one of their trips to help the lesser-privileged out, I believe that you just have to honest in writing your statement!

There's no need for fancy words or big ideals - but the focus here is on how *you* can help *others*. Of course as the 1st responder said, you need to be able to work well with others too, considering that you'd be working with them for at least a week, and communication is *very* important.

Think of it this way - what are you willing to do? What are you not willing to do? What are your principles and comfort zone? As it is, I already think you would be a very good helper!

(I've always wanted to go on a HFH trip to help people, but things keep popping up... GO FOR IT!!!)

Tell them how motivated you are and how you like to help out humanity. if your good at anything relavent mention that, and always use the phrase "team player"
