Hacked pokemon?

when trading why do people care if theyt get a hacked pokemon whats the difference? its probably better anyway...

A matter of principle i guess, or it could be true that something bad can happen to your game. how would you know it was hacked when you got it if they didnt tell you....

because hacked pokemon are banned from competitive battling

If Nintendo knows you have a hacked Pokemon, (even if you got it from your friend) ALL of your Pokemon will be turned into bad eggs, if the eggs hatch, your game will freeze. After that, all of your save data gets deleted. This morning I got an hacked Turtwig from the GTS, so I had to release it.
