Hackers winning the PlayStation Vita war against Sony

Firmware updates by the consumer electronics giant have done little to slow down the hackers who have cracked the Vita using PlayStation Portable games.
Sony and the hacking community are fighting a war and there are no two ways about it. In one corner is the hacking community who take it as a challenge to break through security protocols to prove their skills and some even do it for opening up opportunities
for p****y. In the other corner is Sony, who are apparently selling an overpriced piece of technology with very few games at the moment with sales spiralling downward.
However, the fact that the hackers actions could potentially lead to p****y and the eventual death of the PlayStation Vita means that one has to feel a bit of sympathy for Sony in this case.
According to reports, hackers have cracked the latest firmware update that Sony has released for their second generation portable gaming console at neck breaking speed.
Sony’s biggest weapon against p****y is their regular firmware update yet it seems that hackers have found a way of quickly breaking those security measures and are apparently using PlayStation Portable games in order to find kinks in the PlayStation Vita’s
armour.
The hackers earlier used two PSP titles, MotorStorm Arctic Edge and Hot Shot Tennis, before Sony took them off the PlayStation Store, patched them and put them back up after ensuring they could not be used by the hackers again.
However, it did not take the hackers long to find another PSP title to suit their needs and there are videos of the “original Doom for PC running on a Vita”.
This time around the hackers are keeping the title of the PSP game they are using to unlock the Vita, leading Sony to conduct a frantic search to find out before any games can be pirated, because in the end that is what happens when a system is left exposed
for too long.
Sony is planning to launch a kit for the Vita community to create apps for their console and that may deter some of the hackers from their current shenanigans, yet one can sense that the current war for the Vita is far from over.
