Hacking Wi- Fi.......Why are people so angry about it

when i see a question regarding people hacking into home users wi fi internet there seems to be an outpouring of venom and anger towards these people...........what is the big deal i cannot see it affecting your internet speed unless someone is dowloading huge files all the time and since most people would be doing this to access their email or just surf the web i am at a loss to see why people take it so badly..................is it just that peole do not like to see others have something for free even though it is not costing the owner of the connection a penny ...............whats your view?

Because its in your name, its a security threat and worst of all, if the "hacker" does anything on your connection your gone pay the price, if they search for child p**n you will likely be in trouble, some people also have restictions on how much they can download, so a hacker using that up without permission isnt going to be liked.

How do you know its not costing the owner of the Wifi connection ?

Most households have Wifi with certain restriction's ie the amount of surfing and downloads so if some else is using their Wifi it could mean that the owner has a lot less downloads and less surfing time
