Hacking...?

Question

My friend is not very computer literate and she is always asking me questions about her PC over the phone. I am obviously not there to see what she is talking about so it's hard for me to tell her what to do. I want to be able to control her computer when she is on it or at least be able to see her screen on my screen. If I ask her for her IP address, how do I use it to see her screen...I don't think that's hacking if she consents to it.

There is a program on your computer called remote assistance located in all programs (I'm not sure how to use it though)

On msn messenger you can go to Actions>Request remote assistance and that should automatically send a message to her asking for remote assistance, she clicks yes and you have control over her computer.

You need a program like PC Anywhere or ReacjOut where you can actuall control her mouse and everything.

She can be at home and it would be as if you were  right there manipulating the mouse and launching applications.

I use it for remote access to customers who have problems and are 1000 miles aways. With that application, I don't have to explain anything and just fix it as if i was there.
