Yes, I think he probably would have. There are many, many traditional women out there who need to know that their opinions are being heard and respected. A female on the GOP ticket helps to facilitate the logical woman's voice, which is sorely lacking on the Democrat camp. Yes, people should o vote on gender or color  but his/her stands on the issues affecting our country.  I'm female by the way i don't think gender or colors or wanting to make history should be the top issues when  deciding who is going to be our comander in chief.
