Had a UTI got antibiotics but the doctor called?

I had a UTI and we went to the doctor he gave me antibiotics and I took a urine test. I had s*x on the 7th and went to the doctors on the 15th. Its now the 30th and i am suppose to get my period today but it didn't happen...the doctor called today and said they found something in my urine. I FREAKED OUT I bought 2 preggo test but both were negative...Could they tell my I'm pregnant? Or could it be I have something else? Do they even check for that if u went for a UTI test? because according to 1st responce I'm not pregnant...HELP I'M VERY SCARED OF WHAT THEY WILL SAY...especially since I'm going with my mother who doesn't even know I'm sexually active...and can't know!

Uh-oh . . . yep, I'd be freaking out, too, if I were you.  Why couldn't they give you the results over the phone, if it was just simple.  Obviously, there was an infection, otherwise, you wouldn't have an UTI. He probably wouldn't be able to detect pregnancy on the 8th day after intercourse, though, and if 1st Response is negative, then you probably aren't pregnant.  

If you want to be pro-active, you can call your doctor, explain that you are sexually active without your parent's knowledge, and want to know if what they found in the urine has anything to do with your sexual activity -- because, if so, you would prefer that it was kept confidential.  

PS:  What do you mean, she "can't" know?  She was a teenager once, herself, you know.  She knows what it's like. If you are sexually active, and you aren't taking birth control or taking measures to protect yourself against pregnancy, I would recommend that you DO talk to your mom -- you need some help taking care of yourself.

They may have done a preg test to see if the meds they put you on were safe...or they could have found a different bacteria and want to use a different med...call them to see!!!

It could be an STD.  Quit having s*x until your married, and ya won't have the problem of telling your mother.  If something like that shows up on your test, then she's going to know that your sexually active.
