Had a dream I cheated on my boyfriend with his cousin?

Is there something wrong with me?

My boyfriend and I are doing really well right now, and I haven't seen his cousin in maybe over a year. I've been attracted to his cousin before, but we (his cousin and I) have never been close or anything like that.

In the dream, his cousin and I were on the bus kissing, right in front of my boyfriend. We both (his cousin and I) kept looking over at my boyfriend, as if in worry, but he kept saying, "Don't worry, it's cool" in the most calm manner.

I did however find out yesterday that my friend cheated on her boyfriend while on a trip overseas, which really bothered me all day/night, so could this be the reason?

Most of the times our dreams are the reflection of our thoughts about our waking life. That might just be it as you said, it might be about your friend's infidelities. It might be also, that you care so much about your relationships that you don't want to make any mistake to mess it up. Don't worry about it, and just do what is right.

There is nothing wrong with you.  You simply have a healthy sexual appetite.   I would agree there is a connection between the news of your friend cheating and the dream you give.   A dream is not limit by societal rules and obviously at some point you were attracted to the cousin.  The only thing I would wonder is about your boyfriend giving you permission to be with his cousin.  I would wonder about your s*x life with the boyfriend and what your unconscious mind has either found possibly sexually frustrating in your current relationship or possible signals your unconscious is perceiving from your boyfriend.
