Had anyone moved to Uxbridge Ontario from Toronto? Was the move good?

Hi, we are considering moving to Uxbridge Ontario from Toronto. Anyone done that? Can you let me know how the move was for you? Cheers

I did and I love it. Moved here 2 years ago and everyone I know who has done it love it. In fact aside from some teenagers who want to get to the city, everyone I meet here loves the town. It's a wonderful place to raise a family. It's safe, pretty, family friendly, full of charm and a great artist community. There are many family events and a sense of community I never felt in the city. Also great restaurants, movie theatre, great shops and yet it still has the beauty of ponds, green space and hills. Love it!! Besides we head down to the city now and again and it's only a 50 minute drive. Not that bad if you want to go for a weekend now and again.
