Had lime wire for years no problems,now for some reason ,cant uploaed songs says im behind a fire wall?

for songs try "piolet" a music only site .

doe's not solve your limewire problem but keeps the show on the road.

if you have updated any software on your computer it might auto firewall lime wire you should go to the control pannel andgo to connections and see if you and find the firewall and remove it. hope it helps!:) but i suggest not to use lime wire because it destroyed my laptop

Mine does this sometimes, open application and just leave it for a few mins before searching and usually the brickwall on the planet (bottom left corner - indicating firewall) will go and searching will commence.

One option, if you choose to use it, is to use your system restore point to a time when it worked.  That way if you made any accidental changes to your computer it will take care of itself. I would call Live Wire support and thoroughly check all network settings.  That program also uses BItTorrent which has been getting a lot of negative attention from the cable and network companies lately.  Also, if it is a work computer check to see that they have not put it on a list of programs that their firewall will block.  Good luck!!
