Had sealed box put subs in a vented box seems like no change need help thanks alot

ok here i go i have 2 12jlaudiow1v2 origanlly in a sealed jl box and it hit very hard had subs facing the back of the car

the change MTX BS212V Bass Slammer Dual 12" Vented Enclosure put the jl subs in box again had the subs facing the back of the car does not seem like it made a difference it actually feels like i lost bass what happen and should i face the subs towards the front of the car or what i also have the subs pushed as far bac as possible need advice i thought it would bang harder the box had awesome reviews

  2. true...you can't just buy any ported box and expect it to work well with any sub you throw in it.  

  3. yeah, ur prolly gonna need a box built to the speakers specifications....

  4. Simple that box just doesn't work for those subs. If you want the best sound for those subs, or any subs for that matter. Build the box according top the manufactures specs on the subs.
