I'm 48 yrs old. The bone or tooth chip is just barely through the gums and very painful to touch also. My jaw hurts with throbbing pain.

  1. Try some orajel toothache gel and go to the dentist.  If it was me I would return to the same dentist that pulled the tooth and give them heck (smile).  Good Luck.

  2. Contact you dentist and the best thing that works is Orljel

  3. Go to the dentist who pulled the tooth and punch him in the face!!

  4. FYI THE PAIN AFTER AN EXTRACTION SHOULN'T BE SEVERE. YOU MAY HQVE DRY SOCKET WHICH YOUR DENTIST MUST TREAT.

  5. call u dentist and tell him because i dont think 48 year olds have teeth still growing!

and when it hurts say to urself in ur head

like some like im not in pain at all

    or also like

nothing hurts in ur mind it worked for me!!!

  6. if it was 3-4 YEARS ago, a piece of tooth root might of stayed behind. (they should of informed you of it.) sometimes the lil 'splinter' work it way out which is now hurting. see your dentist so they could remove it and get you out of pain... or the bone has irregularities and its an area that sticks out and since bone loss is common with having a tooth missing that long its just like that, but if its really hurting/bothering you the might have to go in and file your gum down (surgery).

    so see your dentist...
