Question:

Had three cavities filled, dimple gone

Five days ago I went to dentist to have three cavities filled on my upper row of molar teeth. Ever since, my dimple that I used to have in my cheek is gone. I figured that by my jaw being swollen it was typical of the procedure, but five days is somewhat of a long time for swelling to decrease. Can someone offer any input?

I called dentist's office but was unable to reach him since it's after-hours. Does anyone know if this may be permanent? I am sad because my dimple was a part of my features

  1. Nope

    it's gone

    RIP dimple

  2. I have never heard of such a thing happening before.  Maybe you are ultra sensitive to the anesthetic.  I wouldn't worry, I am shore your dimple will come back.

  3. Huh! That is a puzzler.
