  1. You could just block the emails from the group.  Tick one in the little box beside a message then click spam.

  2. 1) well, you could unsub via the e-mail command if that was your only choice. the unsub ibfo should be at the bottom or side of those e-mailed posts. this method will have a delay going through however.

    2) you do need the ID used in the group to go to the site to unsub, which is the better method.

    3) you could also e-mail the owner, have them search the e-mail address within their members list and sk them what Yahoo ID is with it. if you locate that info

    sign into that ID

go to this link http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups click edit my groups on the top left- locate group (if there's more than one) under the last column Leave Group, check small box - click save changes

  3. Since you can't sign in to the group without knowing your user ID and password, you can unsub this way:

Open one of the emails you have received from that group.  Down at the very bottom, look for a line that looks like this:

Change settings via email: Switch delivery to Daily Digest | Switch format to Traditional

Visit Your Group | Yahoo! Groups Terms of Use | Unsubscribe .

Click on Unsubscribe.  You may get an email from Yahoo asking that you confirm that you do want to unsubscribe from that group.  If you do receive it, follow the instructions the email gives you.  You will then be unsubbed from that group.  After that, you might receive a few more emails, they they will stop.
