Had to touch up our wall, and now dont know what to do?

(we went out and brought new paint but because the wall was painted over a year the new paint doesnt match)

So! we used the old. IT smells so bad what can i do?

There's nothing you can do now.  It's probably an oil based paint rather than water based.  It will just have to smell until it stops.  Kind of like the smell of oil or nail polish or anything else that has a smell of it's own.  If you have a/c, put it on because the warmer and more humid it is in the room, the more it will smell and be apparent.  If the weather is cool and dry, keep the windows open.  Sorry.  That really stinks.

I'd repaint it with water-based "KILZ" which is a 'stain killer' paint. It's also an odor-killer. You can have it tinted to match the color of the wall.

Take a photo and take the photo to the paint store, they can match the color of the photo pretty closely.
