Well, Ali is one of the greatest fighters of all time, very fast and pretty strong too, now George Foremen is probably the hardest hitter of all time, but I wonder, would the crazy little 5'10 Mike Tyson beat Ali ? I am honestly saying he can.. His punching power is beyond great and he is fast.

No George is so d**n slow, but so strong, and he seems like he gets tired quick, obviously.. so do you think Tyson can beat HIM ? I think so haha.

And also I wanna see a Cotto - Forbes fight lol. '-'

My question is who do you think would win between Tyson-Ali and Foremen-Tyson.

  1. Holyfield would destroy them all.

  2. i would say Ali over Tyson and Tyson over Foreman, Foreman would give in to brawling with Mike which would favor Mike 'cause he is shorter with less reach, he would have destroyed Foreman on the inside. as for Cotto - Forbes are you seriouse do you hate forbes that much Cotto will kill that guy.

  3. i believe that iron mike would have been beaten handily by both fighters with all three being in their prime. Ali was quicker, smarter ,bigger and his ability to take a punch is legendary, not to mention the punishment he could dish out..mike would not last more than 6 or7 rounds, and i believe that is being generous, as far as big george, the hardest puncher i ever saw in that weightclass, mike's style was perfect for the heavy hitting george, come at him and try to assert his will and trade punches... no ,i am afraid mike does not go past4 rounds, sorry!

  4. Ah... the Tyson thing again... and again... and again...

Tyson was very good in his time, but not one of the greats. What seems to confuse the younger generation of boxing fans, is that he was a great KO hitter and that he looked impressive on TV... so that would automatically make him the best, right? Not so.

Ali would keep a fighter like Tyson at a distance and dance around him for the first rounds, stinging him with those lightning-quick jabs of his. Sure Tyson is fast and has awesome power, but he'd have to hit properly, and even if he DID hit... you really think that Tyson could sink Ali when Foreman couldn't? Ever seen Foreman punch a guy? (As to what Foreman would do do Tyson: see the Foreman-Frazier fights).

Ali would dance, jab and talk to Tyson while doing it. Tyson would go ape and rush in, rarely connecting. When that close, Ali would grab Tyson's neck, hold him, pull him in, talk in his ear...

Tyson would do OK at first, but would soon grow incredibly frustrated and sloppy, more and more often trying to KO the man with one of the best chins in boxing history... and also one of the fastest heavyweights.

Ali would catch Tyson off-guard and suddenly - after staying back the whole fight - rush Mike with blinding speed and deliver a dozen scoring punches in a row. The ref would see Tyson frozen against the ropes and stop the fight - Ali winner on TKO somewhere between round 6 and 8.

(And still - years after that convincing victory - Tyson fans will claim foul play, that Tyson was over the hill, that Ali was playing dirty, that the referee shouldn't have stopped the fight, etc., while everyone else that ever read about boxing shake their heads in disbelief).

  5. Uh. . . ."Holyfield would destroy them all". . .man, pass whatever you're smoking over here!

Both Ali and Foreman dealt with a rather Tyson-esque fighter in Joe Frazier (different tools, but similar style) and Ali won twice out of three and Foreman blew him out twice.  Ali would never have let Tyson near him, and George would have cut the ring off and kept Tyson's power from reaching full extention, thus extinguishing it's full power.  Tyson was good, but he's clearly not an all-time great.

  6. in tyson's prime...he would've beat both ali and foreman...because tyson had something both ali and goerge didn't have = tyson is a sociopath
